Not of mead halls or nameless kings,
But of her…
The Shield-Mother,
The one who bore warriors from the marrow of her storm-wrought soul.

She did not wear furs for warmth.
She wore them as trophies of winters she survived.
Her lullabies…?
Chanted like war-songs over cradle and kindling,
While wolves howled outside and men trembled within.

She taught sons to grip axe before pen,
To speak with honor, and fall with pride.
She taught daughters not to yield…
NO…. to rise
With blade in hand and fire in heart.

When the gods spoke,
She answered.
When the earth cracked,
She planted her feet.
When death circled,
She laughed….
